How We Are Funded

North Penn Legal Services (NPLS) receives funding and is monitored by the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN) and the Legal Services Corporation (LSC). Other funding sources include:

• Title XX of the Social Security Act (block grant to states passed to social service programs)
• DAP (Disability Advocacy Program)
• IOLTA (Interest On Lawyers Trust Accounts)
• AJA (Access to Justice)
• Area Agency on Aging
• United Way
• AIDSNET
• Private foundations
• Private donations
